Application Process & Timeline

Join GRC.

At GRC, the strongest teams we’ve built have come from the most diverse combinations of backgrounds, majors, and perspectives. We don’t look for one “ideal” candidate; we’d be pretty boring if we did.

Our Application

Fall 2026 Recruitment

ROUND 01

Written Application

Our written application is your chance to introduce yourself: your experiences, your interest in social impact, and what draws you to consulting. There are no right answers, and we’re not looking for a polished résumé summary. More than anything, it’s an opportunity to let your personality come through, so write like yourself.

This year, we’re also offering applicants the option to submit a short video alongside their written application. This is completely optional. It will not be weighed more heavily than the written portion, and choosing not to submit one will not disadvantage your application in any way. We’re offering this for applicants who feel a video might capture something a written response can’t fully convey.

ROUND 02

Interview

The interview is structured similarly to a real consulting interview, with a behavioral component and some semi-technical elements. This is also our chance to get to know you beyond your application. What we’re really evaluating is how you approach a problem. Don’t be afraid to communicate your thought process out loud.

What We’re Looking For

Four Things That Matter More Than A Major.

1

Collaborators

Our projects move fast and require close collaboration across the team. Members who communicate openly and show up consistently make both the work and the community stronger.

2

Invested Contributors

Our projects demand genuine time and energy, and the members who get the most out of GRC are the ones who consistently show up and put in the work.

3

Problem Solvers

Social impact work is defined by complex and evolving problems that don’t have obvious answers. Getting to solutions requires people who think creatively and aren’t afraid to challenge conventional approaches.

4

Visionaries

Some of our best directions have come from members who saw an opportunity nobody else had thought to pursue yet: a new client, an underexplored issue, a different way of thinking about our work.
